Acne Treatment: Acne Home Remedy
Treatments
Many people who suffer from acne believe that the only way
to reduce acne or get rid of it is by using a harsh cream or
cleanser that will dry
out there skin. However, there are various types of methods
that you can employ to help you reduce the amount of acne you
have including washing your face, keeping a clean system in
your body, changing your diet, and taking selective
vitamins.
First off, you need to be sure to wash your face every day
twice a day. This should be done with an antibacterial soap
that contains either benzyl peroxide or salicylic acid. Be sure
not to do it more than twice a day because this can wash out
important oils in your skin which will actually make your
sebaceous glands produce more oil. This will make your skin
have an oilier appearance. When you are washing your face be
sure to be gentle on your skin so you do not reduce your
natural oils or hurt your hair follicles.
Having a good diet is also a great way to help prevent acne
from appearing. Stay away from greasy foods and fatty foods
because these have a large affect on your skin's complexion. If
you have any food allergies, even slight ones that you may not
be fully aware of, these will often have an impact on your skin
which will make your acne worse.
Be sure to include plenty of water in your diet. This helps
to keep your entire body system clean. You need to keep your
bowels, kidneys, lungs and skin clean because this is how your
body releases toxins and waste. If your bowels and kidneys are
not functioning properly then this will cause acne to appear in
a large amount because all the built up toxins are trying to be
released. Therefore it is recommended to drink six to eight
glasses of water a day to keep your system clean and
healthy.
You should also consider taking daily vitamins that aid in
skin health. There are a variety of vitamins that will help to
release toxins in your body as well as vitamins that act as
antibacterial agents. The types of vitamins that you want in
your vitamin pill are vitamins A, B, C, E, chromium and zinc.
These will help to keep acne under control. Vitamin A lowers
the production of sebum which is what removes the toxins from
your body. Vitamin B helps to reduce anxiety levels which can
have a large impact on your skin. Vitamin C is an antioxidant
which helps to release toxins from the body. Vitamin E helps
repair damaged skin tissue. Zinc reduces the appearance of
scars and blemishes. Chromium helps to reduce infections that
can be caused by bacteria.
These are some very basic home treatment methods for acne
that any person can do. It is important to wash your face,
watch your diet, drink plenty of water and be sure that you are
getting the right amount of vitamins.
