Acne Skin Care Recipes
By now you already know that the market is full of promising
acne treatment formulas for people who have acne prone
skin.
But did you know of the existence of acne skin care recipes to
create your own skin care solutions. The ingredients used in
these formulas can be found in and around your
house.
One of the basic acne skin care recipes to start with is a mild
facial wash. This will help remove the dirt inside your clogged
pores and the surplus of oil on the skin. Apple cedar vinegar
or naturally fermented vinegar is an excellent ingredient to
fight the excess oils. But watch out. Always use vinegar in a
diluted form because it is very acidic. To get the right
mixture to cleanse your face you will have to mix 9 parts of
water with 1 part of vinegar. To get rid of the deep seated
dirt in your skin, use a cotton ball and dip it into the
mixture.
An egg-white mask is also often made at home and used as acne
skin care recipe. Take a couple of egg-whites, beat them
stiffly and you have your mask. Smear it on your face, let the
mask sit for a few minutes and when it is dried out, and wash
it off with warm water. Use a clean towel and pat dry your
face. Sometimes dry oatmeal is added to the mixture because it
can help remove the excess oils from your skin. You can safely
use this mask once a week. Don't overdo because you will risk
your skin to dry out.
You can be creative and add also substances that kill bacteria.
An example is baking soda. Mix it with a bit of distilled water
and then use it as a mild exfoliating agent for your acne prone
skin.
